Đây là lễ hội được diễn ra song song với Tết Nguyên Đán, nhằm rửa sạch những điều không may mắn của năm cũ và chức mừng năm mới và mùng một một mùa thu hoạch bội thu. Trong lễ hội này thì người dân sẽ té nước vào nhau như một cách chúc hy vọng và cầu may cho một mùa vụ mới thành công.
Sinh nhật của Đức Vua Campuchia – Norodom Sihamoni
Trong những ngày này, người dân Campuchia sẽ được nghỉ ngơi, không cần phải đi làm. Họ treo biểu ngữ, biển quảng cáo và tham gia vào các hoạt động điệu múa để chứng mừng sinh nhật. Trong những ngày này, đức vua sẽ cúng đường các nhà sư và tặng quà cho những người nghèo trong nước.
Lễ hội của các nhà sư – Meak Bochea
Nếu bạn du lịch Campuchia vào tháng 3 âm lịch thì bạn sẽ được tham gia một trong những lễ hội lớn và quan trọng nhất của Campuchia. Lễ hội được tổ chức nhằm tôn vinh Đức Phật và những lời dạy bảo của ngài. Và để kỉ niệm chuyến viếng thăm tự phát của 1250 nhà sư để tỏ lòng tôn kính Đức Phật. Vào ngày này thì những Phật tử sẽ tham gia vào cuộc rước nến tại các ngồi chùa lân cận.
Ngày lễ Phật Đản – Vesaka Bochea
Ngày lễ Vesaka Bochea là một trong những ngày tưởng quan trọng kỉ niệm 3 cột mốc sự kiện của Đức Phật: Sinh ra, giác ngộ và đi vào cõi Niết Bàn. Vào ngày này, người dân sẽ cầu nguyện và tạo công đức bằng cách dâng thức ăn và quần áo cho các nhà sư địa phương. Vesaka Bochea là một trong những ngày lễ Phật giáo quan trọng nhất tại Đông Nam Á, và được tổ chức tại nhiều nơi mà Phật giáo là tín ngưỡng, tôn giáo chính.
Lễ cầm cày Hoàng Gia – Preah Reach Pithi Bonn Chrot Preah Neang Kol
Ngày lễ cầm cày Hoàng Gia là một nghi lễ tôn giáo đánh dấu sự khởi đầu cho mùa trồng lúa của Campuchia. Người dân Campuchia sẽ dựa vào loại thức ăn mà bò chọn để có thể đoán ra tình hình mùa vụ sắp tới. Buổi lễ sẽ bắt đầu bằng lễ cầu nguyện của các nhà sư, sau đó Đức vua và Hoàng Hậu cùng điều khiển những con bò thiêng, sau đó họ sẽ dự đoán mùa vụ sắp tới dựa vào thức ăn mà con bò đó chọn.
Ngày Tổ tiên – Pchum Ben
Pchum Ben là lễ hội tưởng nhớ tổ tiên, tưởng nhớ những người đã khuất, được tổ chức vào tháng 10 âm lịch. Trong những ngày này, người dân Campuchia sẽ đến ít nhất 7 ngôi chùa để cúng dường thức ăn cho các linh hồn tổ tiên. Họ tin rằng, bằng cách làm như vậy, tổ tiên sẽ phù hộ cho họ trong cuộc sống.
Ngày Quốc khánh Campuchia
Vào ngày này, khi ngọn lửa chiến thắng được thắp sáng tại tượng đài Độc lập nằm ở Phnom Penh, Camphuchia trở nên hoàn toàn tự do dưới sự chứng kiến của cộng đồng dân Campuchia. Các hoạt động văn hóa, diễu hành sẽ diễn ra trên Đại lộ Norodom và thưởng thức màn bắn pháo hoa rực rỡ vào buổi tối.
Lễ hội nước, đua thuyền – Bon Om Touk
Bon Om Touk là lễ hội được tổ chức vào cuối mùa mưa, thường vào tháng 11 âm lịch. Lễ hội này gắn liền với truyền thuyết về việc đánh bắt cá của người Khmer. Điểm nhấn của Bon Om Touk là các cuộc đua thuyền trên sông Mekong, thu hút sự tham gia của đông đảo người dân và du khách.
